My Story

Thank you for allowing me to share with you my journey up to this season in my life!

I've always been athletic and I discovered my love of weight training in 1994 when I was in the military.  Upon my discharge from the military, I began competitive bodybuilding and entered numerous contests in the mid-1990's.  I completed the first phase of my bodybuilding career by competing at the (NPC) Nationals bodybuilding championships in 1996.

In 1998, while pursuing a career in law enforcement, I became a part of the Public Service Ambassador Program (PSA Program) in Milwaukee.   This was Milwaukee Downtown's Business Improvement District #21's newest program initiative designed to make downtown Milwaukee safe, clean and friendly.  By God's unmerited grace and favor I was promoted to Managing Director in 1999.

In January 2000 I realized I was in way over my head, had no peace, was empty, unfulfilled and without purpose. I hit my "rock bottom" and as a result made Jesus Christ the Lord and Leader of my life and thereby became a born-again Christian!  Little did I know the Lord was preparing me to one day run my own business as He taught me about servant leadership, stewardship, compassion, integrity, encouragement..and LOTs more!

After 8 years in this position, the Lord called me to leave the Ambassador Program to pursue the call to help others achieve a healthy, well balanced lifestyle through exercise and meal planning.  In 2007, New Creation Personal Training was born!

My current schedule keeps me very busy, but I love spending quiet time in my back yard reading, taking my Yorkie (Hugo) on hikes at the state parks, and spending time with my wonderful family and friends!

Arise, Shine by Donna Smallenberg

"Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs  forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to  it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."
Isaiah 43:18-19
