 BEFORE / AFTER

 I want to share the Power Profile of my very dear friend, Koffi.  It has been so amazing seeing him grow stronger and healthier.  This is a bittersweet post because Koffi won’t be able to work with me anymore since he is moving away but he will always be an important part of the New Creation Personal Training family.

                 

I remember when I first met this wonderful gentleman.  I was so impressed with his passion for improving his health.  It isn’t always easy to make changes but if you remember some of my previous posts you will also be amazed at the progress he has made.


Koffi and I are always competing with each other and our Apple watches.  He performed so well during the contest and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Always pushing to his max limits Koffi has deadlifted 365x2, squatted 335x2 & even leg pressed 900 lbs!


He always brightens my day no matter how stressed out I am.  He is a wonderful example for his sons and everyone around him.  I am going to miss him so much, but I know that we will be friends eternally.  Koffi, thank you for letting me have you in my life.

Age 65

I was a competitive body builder and power lifter most of my adult life. I trained hard even in my 40's. I won contests and titles and set a few world records powerlifting. I thought I knew about training and diet. When I hit 50 things changed. My old training routines didn't yield the same results they had a few years earlier, they resulted in injuries and chronic pain. I have known Andie for years and admired the transition she made from pro body builder to fitness competitor and trainer so I reached out to her for help. She understood I was getting older and needed to change my training and diet, putting the focus on health and wellness. She guided me through the process of overcoming my bad habits and building a training program that works the muscles using a combination of free weights and machines, using volume and cycling my training schedule. I don't use heavy weights any more. Its not about how much you can lift, its about how you use weight for building strength and muscle tone. Now I train my body, not my ego! I just turned 65 and look and feel amazing thanks to Andie. I plan on being even better at 70 with Andie's help and support!

45 day transformation -

14 inches & 10 lbs lost!

I met with Andie to discuss personal training in order to lose weight and tone up. I found her to be very personable and knowledgeable. When I started with Andie I was 30 pounds overweight, ached all over, tired and looked it!! She developed a program for me that combined a personalized diet, a full weight training schedule and an aerobic routine.

I began training with Andie with a commitment of 6 weeks, 3 times per week. I knew after only a few sessions that I would want to continue. I began to see results immediately and lost 10 pounds in the first 4 weeks. I am in the best shape of my life! My goal was never to get a body builder physique but I found that working with Andie I had much more strength and endurance than I had ever gained working out on my own. The sessions were always challenging and Andie pushed me far beyond what I would have achieved on my own while respecting when I couldn't go further. Over the past three months, my partnership with Andi, my personal trainer, has been a transformative odyssey marked by resilience, triumph, and gratitude. Commencing this journey at 305 lbs, with the specter of my back injury looming large, I embarked on a path shrouded in uncertainty. Despite my initial trepidation, the strides I've made have been nothing short of extraordinary. From tentative beginnings to lifting weights I once deemed insurmountable, each milestone serves as a testament to the transformative power of perseverance and dedication. 

Moreover, alongside the tangible gains in strength, I've experienced a significant weight loss of 29 pounds and counting. What was once a journey fraught with apprehension has now become a beacon of hope and possibility. Andi's personalized approach and unwavering belief in my potential have empowered me to push beyond my perceived limits and embrace the challenges before me.

Ana - 45 day transformation - 5.5 inches & 12 lbs lost!

It's another day in which I showcase one of the competitors of the New Creation Personal Training Fall Fit Fat Burn Competition and today's competitor is Ana.  Ana had been doing light exercise at home, but after becoming a new mother she decided she wanted to get back her pre-pregnancy body and thought the Fall competition would be the best way for her to do so.  You can tell by her fantastic transformation she was successful!

Losing baby weight is a struggle for so many, but Ana really put in the hard work and was able to so do.  Ana was especially good at eating her meals throughout the day and always staying hydrated.  Consistency truly is the key to successful weight loss and achieving a lean, tone look.  I am so proud of Ana and what she was able to accomplish in the short 50 days of the competition.

It was especially important to Ana to get in shape because she is a nurse practitioner, and as a member of the first line of defense against COVID, she needed to be healthy and strong to serve her patients and her newborn baby

Dora  - 45 day TONING transformation - 3 inches & 3 lbs lost!

Today I want to showcase another competitor from the New Creation Personal Training Fall Fit Fat Burn Competition, and that's Dora! 

Dora had never really exercised incorporating a weight training program before the contest, but she knew she wanted to make a change, and boy did she ever!  Her goals weren't weight loss, but instead she wanted to develop lean muscle tone & lose that stubborn belly fat that many of us struggle with.  You can tell from her transformation that she accomplished just that! Dora lost just under 2" on her waist alone!!

Dora was a bit intimidated to go to the gym at first, having never really exercised in an actual gym before, but she was committed to her fitness goals!  Dora made all of her weekly training sessions with me, did my online zoom HIIT sessions, was committed to changing her eating habits and you can definitely see the results!

She was consistent with every aspect of the competition, from getting her steps in every day to tracking her meals and working out a little bit every day.  It just goes to show how consistency makes all the difference!  I am so proud of her for everything that she accomplished and continues to do to live a healthy active lifestyle.

I'm giving the spotlight to another one of the amazing friends & competitors from my Summer Fit Fat Burn Competition, Dion!

As you can see, Dion was able to gain tone across her entire body, losing just under 14 inches and it's all due to her hard work and commitment to living a healthy lifestyle.

 

She was an inspiration for her sisters & mom who consistently showed up for bootcamp sessions, getting 10,000 steps & consistently incorporated healthy meal planning. The three girls (Dion, Dominique & Donya) worked out together and in turn the family improved together!

Today I want to showcase my friend Donya, an amazing young woman who worked so hard during the Summer Fit Fat Burn Competition.  She took 10,000 steps for 45 days during the contest.  That is a ton of steps!

Today I want to showcase my lifelong friend Donna.  Not only did she do an AWESOME job throughout the contest but she inspired her three daughters to participate as well.  The family that works out together gets fit together!


Donna was so great about getting her fasted workouts in almost every day of the competition.  This is a great state to workout because your body has no food to burn, so it burns all the bad stuff instead! By faithfully getting in her daily fasted cardio, 10,000 steps & meal planning, Donna was able to lose 4 inches on her waist alone!

Today I am want to spotlight my friend & client of 9 years, Cassandra.  She was our 7th place finisher and boy did she earn it!

I could always count on seeing Cassandra in one of my daily Zoom home workout sessions and she came to my weekend bootcamps throughout the competition.  Through her hard work she lost 11 inches! AMAZING!

I think most wonderful of all is that she also inspired her husband to workout with her! Can you believe that they are in their 60's?! What an inspiration!
